For the love of the game

Flesh and Blood is a one-on-one trading card game built around a hero, their equipment and a deck of attacks, reactions and actions. Games reward careful sequencing: cards can become resources, defence or the next threat, so every hand asks you to make choices about this turn and the one after it.

Tabletop Commons hosts regular Flesh and Blood organised play in Warrawong for players from Wollongong and across the Illawarra. Our Sunday session gives local players a consistent table, while the individual live listing names the active format and any event-specific requirements.

What to expect at Sunday play

  1. Check the live listing. Confirm the format before building or packing your deck. Classic Constructed, Blitz and Silver Age use different card pools and deck-construction rules.
  2. Check in and get settled. Registration currently opens at noon and play normally begins at 12:30pm. Mention if it is your first local event so the organiser can explain the session before pairings begin.
  3. Play the published format. Bring your legal hero, deck, weapons and equipment, then follow the organiser’s pairings and round instructions. Ask when a rules interaction or event procedure is unclear.

Tips for your first Flesh and Blood event

  • Pack the complete deck package. Your hero, weapons and equipment are as important as the cards in your deck. Bring the tokens, dice or counters you normally use as well.
  • Plan before you commit resources. A card pitched now may shape the end of the game, while a card used to block cannot also advance your turn. Take a moment to read your hand before making the first play.
  • Communicate each step. Keep equipment visible, announce attacks and reactions clearly, and give your opponent time to respond. Clear play prevents avoidable confusion.
  • Ask about the right next event. If the listed format does not suit your current deck or experience, contact the store before travelling and we can help you find a better starting point.

Exact dates, format, start time, entry, capacity and booking information come from the live event listing. If you are building or updating a deck, you can also browse Flesh and Blood cards and products online for delivery across Australia or local pickup in Warrawong.
