Commons Cup is Tabletop Commons’ in-house Blood Bowl league in Warrawong. Coaches play a three-month round-robin regular season, track required match results on the in-store ladder and compete for a place in the Top 8 premiership finals.

The season is structured without requiring every Saturday. Each coach completes at least six best-of-one regular-season games, and official play begins Saturdays from 1pm with catch-up time built in. That means most players only need to average one league game every second weekend.

What to expect from the season

Start with a standard out-of-the-box team roster, arrange each listed matchup with your opponent and report the result for the ladder. Extra games are welcome, but only the required season matchups contribute to rankings.

The Top 8 advance to a Swiss-style best-of-three premiership finals series. The champion receives a personal trophy and has their name engraved on the store shield.

Newer coaches are welcome. Register your interest and tell us your experience level; the team can explain the current season status, roster restrictions and what you need before your first match.

Tips for your season

A little planning keeps the league moving and makes every matchup easier to organise.

Plan matches early

Use the Saturday play window where possible and contact your opponent early if you need a catch-up. Six required games across three months leaves room to organise around real life.

Keep the roster standard

Teams use the standard out-of-the-box roster. Added Star Players and oversized league-exclusive characters outside the default composition are not permitted.

Know which games count

Only the required season matchups contribute to ladder rankings. Extra games are welcome, but they do not change the published standings.

Check the rules before kick-off

Rulebooks are available for purchase and a store copy is available for league players. Ask before your match if a roster or rules interaction is unclear.
