Tabletop Commons Return & Refund Policy

At Tabletop Commons, we aim to provide high-quality products and fair customer service while protecting our business and customers from fraud and product tampering risks.

This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.


Sealed Trading Card Game (TCG) Products – Final Sale

All sealed TCG products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind under any circumstances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Booster packs
  • Booster boxes
  • Elite Trainer Boxes
  • Collector products
  • Starter decks
  • Bundles
  • Any factory-sealed trading card product

Due to the high risk of product tampering, resealing, fraud, and theft, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on sealed TCG items unless required under Australian Consumer Law.


Singles (Individual Trading Cards)

All singles sales are considered final.

We do not offer returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Speculative purchases
  • Condition disputes outside reasonable expectations

If there is an issue with your order (such as receiving the wrong card), we will review and resolve concerns on a case-by-case basis.


Change of Mind Returns (Non-TCG Products Only)

For eligible non-TCG items such as accessories, sleeves, deck boxes, board games, and similar products:

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of purchase
  • Original receipt or proof of purchase required
  • Item must be:
    • Unopened
    • Unused
    • In original condition
    • Not purchased on special or clearance
  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind
  • Approved returns will be offered as:
    • Store credit, or
    • Exchange

Online Orders:

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If your product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible
  • We may request photos or supporting details
  • Where possible, we will:
    • Replace the product
    • Exchange the product
    • Provide a refund or store credit where replacement is unavailable

We will manage supplier or manufacturer claims directly.


Lost or Delayed Shipments

If an order is lost in transit:

  • We will investigate with the shipping carrier
  • Replacement or refund will be offered after carrier investigation confirms loss
  • Incorrect shipping details provided by customers may void eligibility

Event Bookings & Tickets

All event bookings, prereleases, and ticketed events are non-refundable.

If your booking included event product (such as packs or promotional items):

  • Your product allocation will be held for collection during your next in-store visit where applicable

Special Orders, Custom Orders & Pre-Orders

Products that are:

  • Special order
  • Custom order
  • Supplier-requested specifically for a customer

are non-refundable and non-returnable.


Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers are entitled to remedies for products that are:

  • Faulty
  • Unsafe
  • Not as described
  • Not fit for purpose
